our roots

In 2012 the Rouse family bought just shy of 6 acres in the Sierra Foothills.  We homeschooled here, played here and just lived happily on our plot.  But as the kids transitioned into high school, Sarah began thinking about pursuing her dream of growing flowers for market and for friends and family.  Finally in 2017, the family decided to dig in, literally, and began doing the necessary work to launch the farm.   

Our goal is to produce locally and sustainably grown flowers for our community.  We believe that our flowers should be grown-not flown from far away places and that we can provide seasonal flowers that have long vase life and are grown according to organic practices enabling our soil to thrive and our community to enjoy the best our land can provide.
